The flight route will create great potential for tourism and trade between the two cities; promote economic and cultural cooperation and exchanges between the people of the two countries, opening up opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to access the Japanese market and vice versa.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in recent times, Da Nang has promoted promotional activities in the Japanese market: organizing programs to introduce Da Nang tourism in Tokyo, Osaka, participating in the Tourism Expo Japan fair and welcoming many travel groups, press, and KOLs from Japan to experience Da Nang. The close coordination between destination promotion and flight restoration is showing clear results. In the first 6 months of 2025, Da Nang welcomed more than 108,000 Japanese visitors, accounting for 4.16% of the total number of international visitors, a slight increase compared to the same period last year.
