Opening of the Phu Tho Folk Song and Mass Arts Festival

On April 2, at the Festival Center yard - Hung Temple Historical Relic Site, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of the Mass Arts Festival (VNQC) and Phu Tho Folk Songs to serve the Hung Kings' Commemoration Anniversary and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025.

The Organizing Committee presented flowers and souvenir flags to the mass art troupes participating in the Festival.

Participating in this year's VNQC and Phu Tho Folk Song Festival are 13 VNQC troupes from 13 districts, cities and towns in the province with over 500 actors. The VNQC troupes bring to the program unique, rich and attractive performances with content praising the tradition of building and defending the country of our ancestors; praising the glorious Party - great Uncle Ho, the heroic land and people of Phu Tho; introducing typical cultural heritages of the Ancestral Land.

Through the Festival program, we aim toeducate the tradition of patriotism, arouse the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source"; propagate, introduce, promote and honor the cultural values ​​of the Hung King era; Xoan singing, teasing singing, folk songs, folk dances, and unique folk performances of the Ancestral Land and other regions of the country.

This is also an opportunity for actors and artists of the units to meet, exchange experiences, discover, explore and create new things in cultural and artistic activities to enhance and develop the cultural and artistic movement in the locality.

The festival takes place from April 2 to 6 (March 5 to 9, 2025).
