The sketch "On Nong Son peak" by martyr - artist Ha Xuan Phong will be displayed at the exhibition.

Opening on July 16 at the Vietnam Heroic Mother Monument Complex (Quang Phu Ward, Da Nang City), the exhibition will take place simultaneously at two locations: the Vietnam Heroic Mother Monument Complex (July 16 - August 10) and the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum (July 7 - August 10, 2025), with nearly 140 valuable sketches made by artists who directly participated in the resistance war.

Notably, most of the works come from martyrs - painter Ha Xuan Phong, the late painter Nguyen Duc Hanh and some famous people who lived and fought in the battlefield of Zone V. Each stroke of the pen captures the daily life of soldiers, the fierce scenes of war but also full of humanity and camaraderie - authentically recreating a heroic period of the nation's history.

The mobile exhibition space at the Monument to Heroic Vietnamese Mothers - a symbol of the indomitable spirit of Vietnamese women - will be elaborately staged, combining visual displays, automatic explanations via QR codes, and solemn rituals such as incense offering and ribbon cutting.

In parallel, at the headquarters of the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, a thematic gallery will introduce 60 original paintings, providing a direct artistic experience and rare documentary depth.

Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Hanh - Head of the Quang Nam Monuments and Museum Management Board said that, along with the purpose of promoting patriotic traditions, the exhibition is an opportunity to connect today's young generation with history through an artistic perspective. The entire activity will be widely spread on media platforms, social networks, and the museum's website.

With an effort to preserve the legacy of war through the language of art, the exhibition hopes to contribute to enriching the spiritual life of the community and fostering deep gratitude in each citizen.
