In the service sector, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in August 2025 is estimated at VND 21,865 billion, up 22.8% over the same period in 2024. In the first 8 months of 2025, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at VND 168,094 billion, up 24% over the same period in 2024.

In the first 8 months of 2025, the total wholesale sales of goods are estimated at VND 200,991 billion, an increase of 16% over the same period last year.

Industrial activities in the area have basically maintained a stable recovery and growth momentum, with the industrial production index estimated to increase by 12% over the same period last year.

Of which: mining industry increased by 46.8%; processing and manufacturing industry increased by 11.7%; production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 15.8%; water supply; waste and wastewater management and treatment activities increased by 9%.

Total state budget revenue in the city as of August 25, 2025 reached VND 35,830 billion, an increase of 20.9% over the same period in 2024. Of which, central budget revenue reached VND 7,562.4 billion, local budget revenue reached VND 28,244 billion.

In the first 8 months of 2025, the accumulated investment capital from the state budget managed by localities is estimated at VND 9,218 billion, equal to 54.6% of the assigned capital plan and an increase of 9.2% over the same period last year.

Regarding domestic investment attraction, from August 1, 2025 to August 20, 2025, the city recorded a total investment capital of VND 77,385 billion, including 3 newly licensed projects with a total capital of VND 1,986 billion and 1 project with an additional capital increase of VND 75,399 billion.

In the first 8 months of 2025 (from January 1 to August 20, 2025), the total domestic investment capital reached VND 140,470 billion; of which, 72 projects were newly licensed with a capital of VND 46,023 billion and 27 projects adjusted to increase capital with an additional capital of VND 94,447 billion.
