Opening the session, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Huong Giang emphasized: The regular mid-year session of 2025 takes place at a time when all levels and sectors are making efforts to implement many effective and synchronous solutions, accelerating the completion of goals and plans set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, the 5-year Socio -Economic Development Plan 2021-2025. Along with the whole country, Bac Ninh province is highly focused on the task of reorganizing the apparatus and administrative units; up to now, the work has been basically completed, ready for the operation of the two-level local government model to ensure smooth, efficient, effective and efficient operations.

Accordingly, the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year achieved impressive results: GRDP in the first 6 months of the year increased by 9.18% over the same period in 2024. Estimated state budget revenue is 23,095 billion, reaching 59.69% of the estimate, up 26.97% over the same period. Local budget expenditure is estimated at 13,322 billion VND, reaching 59.9% of the estimate, up 77.1% over the same period in 2024. Monetary, credit and banking activities are maintained stably; culture, arts, physical training and sports are organized in a diverse and effective manner, meeting the cultural and spiritual needs of the people, promptly serving the political tasks of the province. Education and training continue to receive attention; direction to improve the quality of teaching and learning activities is strengthened. Focused and key investment, ensuring conditions for school facilities: In the National Excellent Student Competition for the 2024-2025 school year, Bac Ninh province had 81/86 candidates winning prizes, reaching a rate of 94.19%, leading the country and 2.33% higher than the previous school year. Strictly manage and effectively use land resources, protect the environment, resolutely direct the effective implementation of environmental pollution solutions. Local defense and military are consolidated, political security, order and social safety are maintained.
