Opening of tactical exercise of S-125M air defense missile technical squad in 2025

Major General Bui Duc Hien, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Air Defense - Air Force, Head of the Exercise Steering Committee attended and gave a directive speech.

Participating in the exercise were combat teams of air defense missile technical squads from units of the Air Defense - Air Force. The combat teams competed in theoretical content on party work, political work; staff awareness; logistics and technical awareness.

The practical contents include: Building orders, shooting instructions, reconnaissance, communications, electronic warfare, technical logistics, guiding party work, political work in combat, reporting on the battle plan of the Battalion Commander, party work plan, political work of the political commissar. In particular, the combat teams must practice mobile recovery, deploying equipment, assembling and checking missiles.

This is an opportunity for missile engineering battalions of air defense units to practice combat readiness, timely alert level transfer, proficiency in operations, close coordination, and accurate situation handling. Along with that, it helps officers and soldiers improve their level of assembly and ammunition inspection with high productivity and good quality, completing the task of ensuring missile ammunition for firepower units.

Speaking at the training session, Major General Bui Duc Hien, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Air Defense - Air Force, Head of the Training Session Steering Committee, said: This tactical exercise of the missile technical squad is an opportunity for officers and soldiers of units in the service to learn and exchange experiences with each other, and learn from the experiences of their predecessors; at the same time, through that, the Service and division agencies can see the strengths, shortcomings and weaknesses in leadership, direction and training organization, thereby proposing policies and solutions to continue improving the quality of combat team training.

The Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Air Defense - Air Force requested the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee to deploy and operate the content correctly, fully, strictly and scientifically . The jury must promote a good sense of responsibility, evaluate the results objectively and honestly of the combat teams. For the units participating in the exercise, promote the spirit of solidarity, modesty, grasp the instructions, plans, instructions from above and experience in practical activities at the unit, strictly comply with regulations and rules, determined to achieve the highest results in the exercise, ensuring absolute safety for people and equipment.
