Specifically, at the end of August 2025, the repair work was carried out urgently. Workers replaced the damaged asphalt layer at some locations on a lane for cars (from Vung Tau intersection to Gate 11 intersection cluster). After that, the unit proceeded to re-pave the asphalt, ensuring the road surface is flat and safe for vehicles to move.

Along with that, from July 2025 to the end of August 2025, Project Management Board 8 (Vietnam Road Administration, Ministry of Construction ) repaired many damaged and degraded locations on National Highway 51, passing through Dong Nai province. Especially the road surface from Song Buong bridge to Vung Tau intersection has been completely re-asphalted.

During the construction process, the units closely coordinated with the authorities to regulate traffic and guide vehicles to move smoothly.

Since early July 2025, when the Department of Construction took over management of this route from the Vietnam Road Administration, the road surface of National Highway 51 has deteriorated, especially in the sections passing through Long Hung Ward, Phuoc Tan Ward and Long Thanh Commune. In addition, recent heavy rains have further damaged the national highway surface.

To thoroughly resolve this situation and ensure long-term traffic safety, the Department of Construction has planned to comprehensively repair the road and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.
