iPhone 17 may be the first time Apple changes the logo position or style

The new design on the iPhone 17 Pro forced Apple to change the familiar icon details, something that few people thought the "Apple" would do on the iPhone.

According to Apple Insider, a new rumor about the iPhone 17 Pro line is stirring up the tech world, suggesting that Apple is about to make a major change. The most notable change in this change is not the screen or the bezel, but rather... the familiar "bitten apple" logo - something that has remained almost unchanged for many years.

Specifically, according to famous leaker Majin Bu, the iPhone 17 Pro may have a completely new camera cluster, stretching almost the entire width of the back of the device. This layout is said to take up a significant amount of space above, forcing Apple to move the logo icon lower than usual - something that has not happened in the past 6 years.

Majin Bu added that this source comes from a partner specializing in manufacturing cases for Apple. Accordingly, they have started designing case models with a new camera cluster cutout as well as a lower logo position, in preparation for the appearance of the next generation iPhone model.

Although there has been no official confirmation from Apple, this rumor is making the iFan community curious and excited. If true, the iPhone 17 Pro will not only be different in features but also a turning point in the iconic design language - something that is very rare in Apple.

Apple has changed the logo position in the past when introducing the iPhone 11 series in 2019. At that time, "Apple" removed the word "iPhone" from the back, and moved the logo to the middle of the body to bring balance and better match the new design. This is considered the first major change in the way Apple arranges the layout of the back of the iPhone.

Apple's "bitten apple" logo may be changed.

Accompanying that change was the introduction of a rounded square camera cluster – completely different from the vertical camera arrangement on previous generations. This design later became a distinctive identity mark for the iPhone for many years, lasting until the iPhone 16 series. Changing the camera layout is always a signal that Apple is ready to open a new design cycle.

If the rumors surrounding the iPhone 17 Pro are correct, this could be the first time since the iPhone 11 that Apple has made such a major rear layout change. The new camera cluster is said to run horizontally across the body and take up most of the space at the top – which could force the “bitten apple” logo to make room and move to a lower position.

In addition, the change is also said to be in the arrangement of the components in the camera cluster. Although the three main lenses are still kept on the left side, the LED flash and LiDAR sensor will most likely be separated, moved to the right side of the camera cluster. This division creates a balanced and completely new camera strip - promising to create a lot of debate and attract great attention from the iFan community when launched.

In addition to the design changes, leaker Majin Bu also revealed another interesting possibility: the iPhone 17 Pro could be equipped with a vapor chamber cooling system - a technology commonly found on high-performance smartphones. This is to help the device control the temperature better when processing heavy tasks such as playing games, recording 4K videos or using integrated AI.

Although there is no official confirmation from Apple, a series of rumors that have been appearing continuously recently partly show that the iPhone 17 Pro is being carefully prepared by the "Apple" for a comprehensive makeover. If these details become reality, this will be one of the most impressive upgrades in the history of the iPhone line - especially in terms of design and user experience.
