The iPhone 17 series is getting a lot of attention with expected changes in design and color. According to a new revelation from Bloomberg, the iPhone 17 version will have a significantly changed design compared to previous generations, promising to bring a new and more modern visual experience to users. The thinner bezel design, neat front and delicate lines may be the highlights of this launch.
At the same time, some other sources - including MacRumors - also revealed that Apple will add a series of new colors to the iPhone 17 series. Specifically, the standard version is expected to have two new colors: pastel purple and light green, replacing the ultra-violet blue and turquoise that appeared on the iPhone 16. These colors are not only youthful and modern, but also suitable for the popular technology fashion trend.
For the Pro line, the changes are even more impressive when Apple is said to switch to using aluminum frames instead of titanium, combined with a frosted glass back to create a more premium visual effect. Thanks to that, new colors such as ice blue or sky blue may be introduced, bringing a luxurious but equally sophisticated feel.
The addition of new colors not only makes the iPhone 17 series more eye-catching but also increases personalization options for users. This is considered one of the points that Apple always takes advantage of to create a difference and attract the market in each new iPhone launch.

iPhone 17 design confirmed to be completely changed, Gurman speaks out
While rumors surrounding the iPhone 17 Pro Max such as fast charging, screen size, thinness or battery capacity are still unresolved, journalist Mark Gurman (Bloomberg) has just officially confirmed: this year's iPhone line will have a completely new look.
In the Power On newsletter, when asked if the iPhone 17 is a redesign compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Gurman answered emphatically: “Yes.” He said that internally, Apple is also considering this year's product line as an industrial design overhaul, most notably the thin and light iPhone "Air" model and the Pro version with a new camera cluster and back.
However, the front of the iPhone 17 will not change too much. Gurman believes that the front of current iPhone models has almost reached the optimal level of display area, so Dynamic Island will continue to appear on new versions.
Gurman also emphasized that “Air” is currently just a temporary codename and may not be the final commercial name upon official launch.
According to Mark Gurman, the improvements on the iPhone 17 series this year are just the beginning of more drastic changes in the following years. In 2026, Apple is expected to shrink the Dynamic Island cluster, take a step closer to the goal of a true edge-to-edge screen, and launch the first foldable iPhone model.
Furthermore, 2027 – exactly 20 years since the first iPhone was launched – will be an opportunity for Apple to completely refresh the iPhone Pro line with a completely new look.
At the same time, Majin Bu recently revealed a notable technical detail: the copper plate believed to be part of the vapor chamber cooling system has been revealed. If this leak is accurate, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will be the first iPhones equipped with this advanced cooling technology.
The vapor chamber cooling system works based on the mechanism of liquid evaporation and condensation to disperse heat effectively. This design helps the device maintain stable performance when handling heavy tasks such as gaming or high-resolution video recording - especially necessary for the upcoming A19 Pro chip.
Although much information has been revealed, users are still waiting for confirmation from Apple on important questions: will the 120Hz ProMotion display appear on the entire iPhone 17 line? What is different about the new camera cluster design? And will the name "iPhone 17 Ultra" replace the Pro Max line?
From now until September, when Apple officially launches its new product line, fans will witness many other interesting leaks.
