Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam Mai Thanh Chung said that the exhibition aims to introduce to the public the process of formation and development of history and culture of Ha Nam province, the contributions of local people in the historical process of building, defending the country and developing the nation. The event aims to arouse pride, aspiration to rise up, promote the highest spirit, will and strength of the people to join the country in entering a new era of development, the era of rising up of the Vietnamese people.

Mr. Mai Thanh Chung added that this is one of the meaningful activities to recreate the historical, cultural, land and people traditions of Ha Nam, the contributions of generations of Ha Nam journalists to revolutionary journalism, contributing to the good implementation of the Central Resolution on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development". The exhibition is also an opportunity to promote the image, tourist destinations, introduce the unique cultural values of Ha Nam to visitors inside and outside the province, contributing to honoring the traditional cultural beauty of the nation.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee introduced to delegates and people to visit the National Treasures of Ha Nam; including 8 typical treasures that have just been recognized by the Prime Minister as National Treasures and National-level relics (including 6 Kim Cuong statues of the Ly Dynasty, Vu Ban bronze drum and Dieu pagoda stone bell; 2 national-level relics including Quan Pho communal house, Ngoai Chuyen commune, Duy Tien town) and Hung Cong communal house, Hung Cong commune, Binh Luc district and nearly 1,000 typical documents, artifacts, and images from the research, fieldwork, and archaeological excavations at relic sites, traces of ancient religious and belief works of Ha Nam and the collection process at the grassroots level.

The highlight of this exhibition space is that the Organizing Committee cooperated with GitViet Joint Stock Company to test 3D digitization of some typical artifacts of the Museum and apply them to the exhibition; allowing viewers to experience images of artifacts and cultural heritage on 3D machines at the opening ceremony and during the exhibition. At the same time, the Museum cooperated with the Doan Hong Ha - Hanoi group to organize the exhibition of war relics associated with historical events, feats and sacrifices of our ancestors during the war. These relics help the younger generation better understand the past, the difficulties and hardships that the Vietnamese people went through to gain national independence and freedom.

At the opening ceremony, private collectors brought their own collected artifacts to donate to the Ha Nam Provincial Museum to contribute more valuable documents and artifacts to serve the work of traditional education.
On this occasion, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 groups and 9 individuals with achievements in protecting and promoting national treasures and individuals participating in organizing the exhibition "Quintessence of Ha Nam Antiquities".

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam, the whole province currently has 1,888 relics; of which 251 relics are ranked (2 special national relics, 97 national-level relics, 152 provincial-level relics, 14 national intangible cultural heritages)... Along with that, the area also preserves many rare artifacts, antiques and treasures with high historical and cultural values. To date, the province has 12 artifacts and groups of artifacts recognized as National Treasures. The locality is also the cradle of many traditional art forms such as: Cheo singing, folk songs, Dam Quyen Son singing, Lai Len singing and dancing, Liem Thuan drum singing, Mong River junction folk songs...
