The 2nd Ho Chi Minh room activities contest in the Military Region 5, 2025 with the participation of 35 teams from units in the Military Region, with the following contest contents: Ho Chi Minh room organization work; awareness contest; skills in organizing and operating Ho Chi Minh room.

The contest aims to correctly assess the current status of construction and the actual effectiveness of the Ho Chi Minh Department in the Military Region 5; the role of Party committees, commanders, and political agencies in leading, directing, and guiding the activities of the Ho Chi Minh Department at agencies and units; as a basis for the Political Bureau to propose measures to continue to consolidate, innovate, and improve the effectiveness of the cultural institutional system in general and the Ho Chi Minh Department in particular; increasingly meet the needs of cultural and spiritual life of soldiers at grassroots units.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Colonel Do Thanh Xuan, Deputy Chief of Political Department of Military Region 5, emphasized that the Ho Chi Minh room is not only a place to preserve images and valuable documents about President Ho Chi Minh, but also a "cultural center", nurturing the ideology, ethics, and political mettle of officers and soldiers; a spiritual support, a place for cultural exchange between the army and the people; contributing to building a healthy and sustainable military cultural environment.

The Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Military Region and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee requested the Organizing Committee and the Jury to organize and run the contest strictly, seriously and thoughtfully; evaluate the results objectively, honestly and fairly for each competition of the agency and unit.

Candidates take a cognitive test.

Agencies and units must strictly implement the contest regulations, the regulations of the Organizing Committee and the host unit; ensure absolute safety; unite, humbly learn from each other, and bring all their sense of responsibility, ability and experience to achieve the highest results at the contest.

The contest takes place from July 16 to 29.
