The New Rice Festival (Bhuôih Haro Tơme) is recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage under the category of traditional festivals, social customs and beliefs. The New Rice Festival is a typical agricultural ritual, reflecting the close relationship between humans - nature - gods in the cultural life of the Co Tu ethnic group.

Taking place after each harvest season, the festival is meant to thank the gods, especially the rice god Giang Haro, for giving the village a bountiful harvest, a peaceful and prosperous life. The new rice festival is a unique cultural heritage of the Co Tu ethnic minority community in Nam Dong - a land rich in tradition, playing an important role in the cultural identity of the mountainous region in Hue City. This is also an opportunity for the Co Tu community to gather, have fun and strengthen solidarity.
Regarding the heritage “Folk knowledge of Hue beef noodle soup” which is listed in the national intangible cultural heritage, it belongs to the category of folk knowledge.
