Huawei proposes solar energy solutions

At the Vietnam Industry 4.0 Summit 2023, Mr. Le Nho Thong, Deputy Director of Huawei Digital Power Business of Huawei Vietnam, gave a remarkable speech on "Solar power technology solutions for Vietnam".

With more than 10 years of focusing on research and development in the solar power sector, Huawei has strived to overcome challenges through long-term R&D planning and continuous innovation, aiming to bring breakthrough solutions to customers.

By 2022, Huawei will hold a 30% global market share of the Smart PV Controller market, with a total capacity of up to 300GW. Huawei's Smart String Energy Storage (Smart String ESS) also accounts for a 14% global market share, and the proportion of partner sales increased to 77% compared to 65% in 2021.

"If 10 years ago the solar power industry developed smart chain technology, then smart storage technology (ESS) will be widely applied in the next 10 years. The combination of solar power and smart storage (ESS) will accelerate solar power to become the main energy source in the future. Meanwhile, the combination of "Solar Power - Smart Storage (ESS) - Grid - Virtual Power Plant" will create smart super solar power plants...", Mr. Thong emphasized.

Huawei's digital energy technology solutions have contributed to the production of 7,695 billion kWh of green electricity, reducing 3.5 million tons of carbon emissions, equivalent to planting 4.8 billion trees - making a great contribution to the world 's greener and smarter energy transformation future.

Through the event, Mr. Le Nho Thong pointed out three important factors to promote the energy transition from "natural resources" to "technological innovation": Close global cooperation in implementing the goal of carbon neutrality; Ensuring energy security to achieve the goal of energy independence; Technological advances bring business value.

“Huawei constantly innovates technology, products and solutions, and works closely with partners with the same vision to set standards and promote the development of the solar energy and smart storage industry,” said Mr. Le Nho Thong.
