On the evening of June 28 at GMA Arena (Nha Be, Ho Chi Minh City), the event GMA 06 | Thach Dau Than Vo ended with the highlight being the successful Cobra belt defense of Nguyen Hoang Thach - captain of Lien Phong Martial Arts School, and also a student of actor - martial artist Johnny Tri Nguyen.
In a rematch with Le Huy Hoang (PFC Phu Quoc) - the opponent who lost to him in the final of Than Vo Vietnam 2024, Nguyen Hoang Thach showed his superior class. Right in the first round, Lien Phong continuously overwhelmed him with powerful kicks, followed by a series of ground and pound blows that exhausted Le Huy Hoang.

In the second round, Thach threw a flying knee to his opponent's face, knocking him down, before the referee had to stop the match and recognize the victory by technical knockout (TKO).
Speaking after the match, Hoang Thach said this was a victory of great significance, not only because he retained the belt, but also paved the way for a higher goal - competing for the International Than Vo belt in October. According to the tournament rules, his opponent will be determined after a series of matches in the region in August.
In addition to the main match, GMA 06 also witnessed 7 exciting matches. In which, Thong Lu Anh Kiet, Tran Tu Lap, Dinh Thanh Duy, Nguyen Van Lam, Nguyen Tri Manh, Nguyen Huu Dinh Nhan and Nguyen Hop Hai all won convincingly.
The event continues to affirm the growing attraction of the Than Vo Vietnam arena in the domestic professional MMA community.
