Hue City Tourism Association accompanies the development of the tourism industry

HNN.VN - On the evening of July 8, the Hue City Tourism Association organized a meeting to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam Tourism (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2025). Attending the program were Mr. Ngo Yen Thi, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee (now Hue City). On the city's side, there were Mr. Pham Duc Tien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; members of the City Party Committee: Nguyen Chi Tai, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City. Also attending the program were former leaders of Thua Thien Hue Province (now Hue City) through the periods; leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

Reviewing the development stages of Vietnam tourism in general and Hue in particular, Mr. Dinh Manh Thang, Vice President of Vietnam Tourism Association, President of Hue City Tourism Association said that over the past 23 years since its establishment, Hue City Tourism Association has always been a common home connecting tourism businesses in the area, promoting the role of a bridge, an extended arm between tourism businesses and the government and state management agencies. The Association also accompanies and supports tourism businesses to gradually develop steadily; participates in building policy mechanisms, promoting cooperation, improving service quality and creating a favorable development environment for tourism businesses...

In the coming time, Hue City Tourism Association will continue to implement many solutions and organize many activities to accompany and contribute to the development of Hue tourism and the whole country, in which there will be one event every month. Hue City Tourism Association will coordinate with the National Tourism Administration and the Department of Tourism to organize programs and activities for the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025; participate in fairs to promote domestic and international tourism; organize conferences to promote and advertise tourism, prioritizing green tourism with the trend of sustainable development; improve the quality of human resources; encourages affiliated associations (Travel Association, Hotel Association...) to implement activities to create momentum to promote, increase flights, expand the international tourist market...

In particular, on the occasion of Vu Lan festival this year, Hue City Tourism Association will preside over and coordinate with Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hue City to organize "Vegetarian Cuisine Week - Hue 2025", introducing, promoting and enhancing the brand of Hue - Culinary Capital.

At the meeting, the leaders of Hue City Tourism Association expressed their deep gratitude for the attention of the city's leaders and former leaders; leaders and former leaders of Hue tourism industry in different periods.
