On the morning of May 6, the Standing Committee of Tho Xuan District People's Council held a session to explain the management and use of cultural institutions; preserve and promote the value of historical and cultural relics in the district. The session was held in both direct and online form from the district's bridge to communes and towns.

Currently, the system of cultural and sports institutions at the district level of Tho Xuan has all met the standards. The whole district has 30/30 communes and towns with cultural houses and sports areas that basically meet the standards. 272/274 villages and neighborhoods have cultural houses, reaching a rate of 99.3%. The whole district has 256 relics and relic sites inventoried, 57 relics ranked, including 2 special national relics.
In recent years, the management and use of cultural institutions at the commune, village and residential area levels; the preservation and promotion of the value of historical and cultural relics in the district have had many positive changes. Cultural institutions from the district to the grassroots have been invested in, promoting their functions well, meeting the living needs and improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people, creating a healthy cultural environment, promoting the socio -economic development of the district. The preservation and promotion of the value of historical and cultural relics in the district have been effectively implemented.
However, the management and use of cultural institutions at the commune, village and neighborhood levels; the preservation and promotion of the value of historical and cultural relics in the district still have many limitations and shortcomings.
At the explanation session, delegates requested the District People's Committee, relevant departments, branches and localities to clarify a number of limitations and shortcomings related to the management and use of cultural institutions at the commune, village and residential area levels; and the preservation and promotion of the value of historical and cultural relics in the district.

Concluding the explanation session, Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Council Le Dinh Hai requested agencies, units and localities to seriously, synchronously, resolutely and effectively implement tasks and solutions within the committed time to improve the effectiveness of management and use of cultural institutions; preserve and promote the value of historical and cultural relics in the district.
