Before the first matches in Group A, the tournament organizers held a brief, concise and solemn opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, the tournament organizers presented meaningful gifts to the ethnic players who were on the teams participating in this year's final round. The ethnic players participating in the final round received scholarships from this year's tournament organizers.
Right after the opening ceremony, two matches took place in Group A. In the opening match, U13 Becamex Binh Duong unfortunately missed out on victory when they let their fellow countryman U13 Binh Duong equalize the score 2-2.
Meanwhile, U13 Phu Tho also got a valuable point after scoring an equalizer in the last minute, to get a 1-1 draw against U13 Hanoi .

In the morning of the same day, matches took place in groups B and C. In group B, U13 Da Nang had a narrow 1-0 victory over U13 Hue, U13 VES Ba Ria - Vung Tau defeated U13 Haduwaco Hai Duong 1-0.
In Group C, U13 Hong Linh Ha Tinh defeated U13 Navy Phu Nhuan (Ho Chi Minh City) 2-0, while U13 Quang Nam and U13 Nam Dinh drew 1-1.
On July 5, the tournament continues with 8 matches in 4 groups.
