Ha Tinh: Soldiers help people harvest rice after the storm

After storm No. 5 passed, many summer-autumn rice fields in Cam Due commune (Ha Tinh province) were knocked down and soaked in water, unable to be harvested by machine, and at risk of serious damage.

Faced with that situation, from August 28 to 29, Regiment 841, Ha Tinh Provincial Military Command mobilized 40 officers and soldiers to go to the fields with the people to urgently harvest rice, collect and transport it for drying.

Mr. Le Dinh Thong, resident of Ai Quoc village, Cam Due commune, emotionally said: "Thanks to the help of the army, our family quickly harvested the fallen rice, minimizing the damage caused by the storm."

With the help of the army, people have been able to ease some of the difficulties and hardships after the storm, further strengthening the strong bond between the army and the people.
