The tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan on Dong Tranh Mountain covers an area of about 50 hectares, covered by thousands of trees, and is a sacred space, marking the merits of Uncle Ho's mother. After the storm passed, nearly 1,000 trees were broken, many paths, flower beds, and lawns were severely damaged, posing a potential safety risk to visitors and seriously affecting the landscape of the relic.

Faced with a large workload, Brigade 414 closely coordinated with the Relic Site Management Board and other units to deploy synchronous measures. Mobilizing maximum human resources, machinery, and specialized tools to clean up and overcome the damage. At the scene, officers and soldiers divided into many small groups, focusing on re-erecting fallen trees, pruning and collecting branches and leaves, clearing dangerous areas, and handling environmental sanitation to ensure absolute safety. For large old trees, the force used specialized cutters, ropes, and tractors to move them, protecting the original infrastructure, without affecting the architecture and sacred space of the relic site.

It is expected that the entire renovation work will be completed in the next few days, in time to serve compatriots, tourists and delegations coming to visit and offer incense.
* Storm No. 5 caused a lot of damage in Nghe An . Particularly at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, storm No. 5 caused thousands of trees and ornamental plants to fall, and many sections of fences and grounds to collapse. The Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, which preserves and commemorates the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh , suffered severe consequences from storm No. 5. Many areas and memorial houses had their roofs blown off or collapsed; the main temple area was crushed by large trees; most of the trees, including many decades-old trees, were knocked down, severely damaging the landscape of the relic site.
Immediately after the storm dissipated, following the direction of the Military Region 4 Command, the 414th Engineer Brigade promptly mobilized forces and vehicles, coordinated with officers and staff of the relic site to cut down fallen trees, reinforce structures, replant trees... As of August 29, the 414th Engineer Brigade had mobilized nearly 500 officers and soldiers to help overcome the consequences of storm No. 5 at the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site.

However, due to the large amount of work, in order to promptly restore the landscape for people to visit during the National Day on September 2, on August 29, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command mobilized nearly 400 more officers, soldiers and militia to focus on repairing damage, fighting against old trees, moving fallen trees and garbage, pruning trees, cleaning the environment, and gradually restoring the landscape.
Directly commanding the 414th Engineer Brigade to overcome the incident caused by storm No. 5 at the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site in recent days, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Nguyen Hai, Deputy Political Commissar of the 414th Engineer Brigade, said: “Immediately after storm No. 5 dissipated, the Party Committee and Command of the 414th Engineer Brigade promptly mobilized forces and vehicles to carry out the task of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in areas severely damaged by the storm. At the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site, the consequences of storm No. 5 were a large number of broken and fallen trees. Officers and soldiers coordinated with officers and staff of the Relic Site to prune branches, replant trees, clean up the grounds... we are trying to coordinate with the forces to soon restore the items at the relic site to serve the people visiting on the occasion of the National Day on September 2nd”.
