Military Region 4 visited and presented gifts to veteran revolutionary cadres and pre-uprising cadres in Nghe An province.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, on August 27, a working delegation of the Military Region 4 Command led by Major General Le Van Trung - Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region, visited and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions in the province.

The delegation visited and presented gifts from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense , Military Region 4 Command and Provincial Military Command to Major General Bui Duc Tung (born in 1928), former Commander of Nghe An Provincial Military Command; Colonel Nguyen Dong (born in 1927), former Deputy Division Commander of Division 348 and Colonel Cao Tien Ta (born in 1925), former Deputy Chief of Office of Military Region 4 Command.

Major General Le Van Trung - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4 and comrades in the working delegation kindly asked about the health and life, listened to the thoughts and aspirations of veteran revolutionary cadres and pre-uprising cadres; at the same time expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of previous generations in the cause of national liberation struggle, building and defending the Fatherland.

The Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4 and the comrades in the working delegation wished the veteran revolutionary cadres and pre-uprising cadres good health and longevity, continuing to be a shining example, a source of encouragement and motivation for generations of cadres and soldiers of the Military Region's armed forces today in carrying out the task of building and defending the Fatherland.

Veteran revolutionary cadres and pre-uprising cadres were moved to thank the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region Command, and local Party committees, authorities, and organizations for their attention and affection.

The comrades affirmed that despite their old age, they will always promote the revolutionary tradition, continue to encourage their children and the younger generation to actively study and work, contributing to building the homeland and country to become increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern.
