Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen, Head of the Subcommittee, chaired the meeting.
Prepare adequate supplies and distribute necessities

The report at the meeting showed that the logistics work serving the organization of the Anniversary Ceremony has been completed and ensured.
The Department of Culture and Sports completed the work related to items and gifts. The Department of Industry and Trade prepared enough supplies and distributed necessities. By August 27, the unit had mobilized more than 830 thousand cakes, nearly 1 million bottles of water, more than 220 thousand cartons of milk and more than 200 thousand bottles of various types of bottled water, exceeding the proposed plan.
The plan for distributing necessities was specifically assigned, and the delivery of necessities was completed before the preliminary rehearsal of the August 27 anniversary celebration, the final rehearsal on August 30, and the parade and march on September 2. Units also developed a transportation plan in rainy conditions.

With 10km of parade and marching procession passing through, Hanoi Youth Union presided over the reception and distribution work to serve delegates at 67 locations. The warehouse was arranged to create the most favorable conditions for distribution work...
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Director of Hanoi Electricity Corporation, said that the logistics of power supply were reviewed and specific plans were developed for each event and each activity location, and rehearsals were also organized. In particular, three key areas including Ba Dinh Square, the exhibition area and locations directed by the Central Government were considered the most important locations.
At Ba Dinh Square, the power supply system is 100% guaranteed by the grid, generators and UPS; the final items have been installed. The exhibition area has been connected to the power source of the Technical Center, ensuring power supply for the LED lighting system of Hanoi Television. Fireworks display points at 5 locations have also been prepared. On 17 streets serving the event, there has been sufficient power supply on each route.
After two training sessions, it was found that people still climbed trees and vehicles to monitor. The unit learned from experience and arranged 300 people to be on duty along the streets to guide, ensure safety, and avoid accidents. Regarding the 5 newly announced tents, the electricity company immediately completed supplying electricity to the locations, with a total of 11 tents to be guaranteed electricity.

A representative of the Capital Command said that with the establishment of 6 water and essential goods distribution points, the Capital Command, the City Youth Union and the Department of Industry and Trade have coordinated to ensure personnel and goods for the preliminary and final rehearsal days as well as the official holidays.
In addition, the arrangement of tents to serve people to avoid rain and sun was proactively reported by the Capital Command, agreed and implemented by the city. These locations attracted a large number of people, created favorable conditions and were enthusiastically welcomed by the people.
However, in reality, there are disputes over seating, and at the same time, there is a great need for public sanitation and waste disposal. The Command proposes to arrange more mobile toilets and trash cans at crowded places; activate all water and essential supply points, bringing the total number to 75 points and specify the time and responsibilities of each department, ensuring close coordination and avoiding overlap.
A representative of the Hanoi Transport Corporation said that they have prepared 80 tourist vehicles to transport the delegations as assigned and have sent documents to 65 related departments, branches and units. The unit has built an operating route from the expected pick-up points to the Ba Dinh Square area and vice versa.
Regarding promotion, trade and tourism, the Corporation is working with the Department of Tourism to agree on the number of delegates who need to be picked up from Noi Bai airport to the hotel, from the hotel to Ba Dinh Square and vice versa.
It is expected that on September 2, about 6,600 delegates from 33 provinces and cities nationwide will attend the event. A80 will be assigned to the Corporation for transportation (it is expected that 180 - 200 more vehicles will need to be mobilized).

The Department of Industry and Trade said it has completed the organization of the Exhibition Fair of souvenirs and gifts of the Capital at Thang Long Imperial Citadel; is constructing spaces, miniatures, and models of traditional and creative exhibition spaces of Hanoi at the National Exhibition Center...
The Department of Tourism has been taking the lead and coordinating with the People's Committee of Ba Dinh Ward to organize a series of tourism, cultural and historical activities in Hanoi 2025 with the theme "Red Color of Ba Dinh"; completing the construction and announcing 80 tours, routes and unique tourism products to serve people and tourists coming to Hanoi on the occasion of September 2.
Actively participate with the highest determination

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen commended and acknowledged the proactive and active participation of units to successfully organize the A80 task.
Comrade Nguyen Manh Quyen also gave his opinion on resolving the difficulties raised by the units, departments and branches. Emphasizing that this is a festival for the people, the Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee requested that units, departments and branches actively participate with the highest determination.
“How to ensure that activities, logistics, and the distribution of necessities run smoothly, ensuring safety, security, and serving the people in the most thoughtful way. Thereby, stirring up the atmosphere and spirit of the country's great holiday,” the Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee emphasized.
Comrade Nguyen Manh Quyen also praised the units under the Material and Logistics Subcommittee for their efforts to achieve many results during the implementation process. Up to this point, many tasks have been completed and exceeded the set plan.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee also stated that from today, when the preliminary rehearsal (August 27) begins, followed by the final rehearsal (August 30), the opening ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day and September 2, along with the official National Day celebration at Ba Dinh Square, are all activities that are decisive to the overall success of the event.
Therefore, he requested that units must adhere to the program, implement on schedule, and operate smoothly and efficiently. Any problems that arise must be promptly reported and resolved to avoid incidents.
Comrade Nguyen Manh Quyen noted that in the implementation, it is necessary to uphold the principle of "clear people, clear work, clear progress, clear counting". Each task must be assigned specifically, with responsibility for control, supervision and reporting, ensuring that all stages are smooth. At the same time, encourage socialized resources, businesses and units to continue to contribute conditions for necessities and resources to serve the majority of people.
