TPO - The Hanoi People's Council has approved the investment policy for a number of public investment projects in Hanoi. These include 8 projects in Group B with a total investment of more than 1,377 billion VND.
At the 16th session, held on May 15, the Hanoi People's Council approved the investment policy for a number of public investment projects of Hanoi.
Presenting the report, Mr. Le Anh Quan, Director of the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment, said that the total number of projects submitted for investment approval is 8 group B projects with a total estimated investment of 1,377 billion VND. Of which, 1 group B project uses the city budget with a total estimated investment of 191 billion VND to be completed in the 2021-2025 period and 7 group B projects with a total estimated investment of 1,186 billion VND, to be implemented in 2 periods 2021-2025 and 2026-2030.
According to Mr. Quan, the projects proposed for approval under the city budget include:
Project to build a multi-level, advanced, modern, high-quality general school in Gia Lam district, with a total estimated investment of 693 billion VND.
The Land Reclamation Project was handed over by the Ministry of National Defense and two veteran revolutionary families - phase II, with a total estimated investment of 118 billion VND.
3 Group B projects with a total estimated investment of 171 billion VND, the estimated medium-term capital plan demand for 5 years 2021-2025 is 106 billion VND.
Project to renovate and upgrade the headquarters of Hanoi People's Committee with a total estimated investment of 191 billion VND.
Phase 2 investment project of Hanoi General Vocational College, with total estimated investment of 79 billion VND.
Group B project with total expected investment of 125 billion VND, using Hoai Duc district budget.

In the audit report, the representative of the Urban Committee (Hanoi City People's Council) said that the city's investment resources are still limited, so the city needs to direct and review the arrangement of investment priorities with new investment plans for routes to ensure synchronous technical infrastructure, with auxiliary ports to ensure investment efficiency as well as development trends. At the same time, direct the review to determine the total investment, apply standards and criteria in accordance with current regulations, avoid the situation where many projects apply inappropriate regulations.
The review report of the Department of Culture and Society proposed to consider the project of building a modern, high-quality multi-level general school in Gia Lam district. In particular, the Department of Culture and Society suggested that the city assess the forecast of student demand in this area when building the school and consider studying the investment scale to improve project efficiency and save resources.
At the same time, the Committee also requested to clarify the conformity with the orientation of the school network in the district and city, ensuring the necessity and feasibility... The Committee of Culture and Society also requested the city to review the projects that are being and will be implemented in the period of 2021-2025, arrange and select priority projects to submit for approval of investment policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
