This year, the athletes will return to the land of blooming lotus but with a more spectacular season, more investment in the running route and the promise to bring athletes more classy experiences. With the theme "Raising the level - Breaking through", the race wishes to accompany the strong and outstanding development of Dong Thap province and the breakthrough, the effort to overcome oneself of each athlete.
The tournament will be held on October 14 and 15, 2023 in Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap province with 4 running distances of 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km for all amateur and professional athletes at home and abroad. The expected starting times for the distances of 42km, 21km, 10km, 5km are 3:30, 4:30, 5:40 and 6:15 respectively.
In particular, the running route in this year's season has been upgraded and officially certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). The routes have been completely renewed compared to the first season, bringing athletes to experience a wonderful, more developed Dong Thap. Hopefully, with the international standard running route, athletes will be closer to the opportunity to participate in prestigious tournaments around the world .
The Dat Sen Hong Marathon - Dong Thap is expected to also organize distances for children (kid run) to encourage the sportsmanship of the country's young bamboo shoots, discover and develop running talents from a young age.
Actiup ticket gate will officially open the Super Early Bird phase at 00:00 on June 6, 2023 and last for 48 hours until June 7, 2023. June 6 has a special meaning for this ticket gate opening phase: 66 is the license plate of Sen Hong province - Dong Thap, also a beautiful, lucky number, symbolizing strength and confidence. For each ticket purchased during this phase, an additional Kid Run ticket will be given to encourage the sportsmanship of children. Early Bird phase from June 8, 2023 - July 20, 2023; Regular from July 21, 2023 - September 28, 2023 and Late from September 29, 2023 - October 13, 2023. October is the month when the pink lotus in Dong Thap is still at its most beautiful, the weather is cool and the people here are friendly and hospitable, always aiming for good and positive values. These things contribute to creating a season with a soft and pure beauty like a lotus hidden in the effort, strongly rising up even in deep mud to bloom brilliantly.
