Durian price today August 29: Mixed fluctuations

On August 29, the durian market recorded slight fluctuations. Thai durian in Dong Nai decreased sharply compared to previous days, while the Ri6 variety in many other areas increased slightly, fluctuating between 40,000 - 45,000 VND/kg.

Developments in Dong Nai

In Dong Nai, the price of Thai durian has decreased significantly. Type A is currently fluctuating at 81,000 VND/kg, type B is 63,000 VND/kg and type C is at 43,000 VND/kg. For Thai durian with defective flesh, type A is at 58,000 VND/kg, type B is 40,000 VND/kg, type C is negotiable.

Ri6 durian prices remain stable, with type A fluctuating between 40,000 and 41,000 VND/kg and type B between 25,000 and 30,000 VND/kg. Ri6 varieties with common defects are priced at 20,000 and 30,000 VND/kg.

Binh Phuoc and Tay Ninh are more stable.

In Binh Phuoc, Thai durian grade A fluctuates at 80,000 - 85,000 VND/kg, grade B 60,000 - 65,000 VND/kg and grade C around 40,000 - 46,000 VND/kg. Thai durian grade A is at 62,000 VND/kg, grade B 50,000 VND/kg.

For Ri6, type A is 43,000 VND/kg, type B is 28,000 VND/kg, type C is only 18,000 VND/kg.

In Tay Ninh , the price is generally similar to Binh Phuoc. Sau Thai grade A fluctuates at 80,000 - 85,000 VND/kg, grade B 60,000 - 65,000 VND/kg. Ri6 grade A ranges from 40,000 - 42,000 VND/kg, grade B 25,000 - 26,000 VND/kg.

In Gia Lai, the price of Thai durian grade A is 82,000 - 83,000 VND/kg, grade B is 62,000 - 65,000 VND/kg. The price of the type with defective flesh fluctuates between 52,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.

Ri6 durian here is quite stable, type A is at 40,000 VND/kg, type B is 25,000 VND/kg.

Notably, in Dak Lak, the price of Thai VIP durian type A still holds the highest position in the market at 105,000 VND/kg. Type B reaches 90,000 VND/kg, type C 70,000 VND/kg. Thai durian type A is commonly priced at 85,000 - 88,000 VND/kg. Ri6 type A fluctuates at 40,000 - 45,000 VND/kg, type B 27,000 - 30,000 VND/kg.

In Lam Dong, the price is stable.

In Lam Dong, the price of Thai durian grade A ranges from 80,000 - 84,000 VND/kg, grade B 60,000 - 64,000 VND/kg. Thai durian grade A is 63,000 VND/kg, grade B 50,000 VND/kg, grade C 40,000 VND/kg.
Ri6 type A is kept at 40,000 - 41,000 VND/kg, type B is about 25,000 VND/kg.
