Rice price today June 29, 2025 in domestic market
According to records from localities on June 29, the amount of rice arriving on the market is limited, mainly concentrated in a few large warehouses. Rice varieties such as 50404 and OM 380 are scarce, prices are stable, but buying and selling activities at warehouses are slow. In An Giang , buying and selling transactions are regular, rice prices remain stable. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the amount of rice arriving is small, prices of rice varieties change little. Meanwhile, in Sa Dec (Dong Thap), rice arrives in small drops, prices do not fluctuate, buying and selling transactions are stable.
At Sa Dec market canal, the amount of rice arriving is low, the market warehouses purchase regularly, rice prices remain stable. In An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang ), rice supply is scarce, transactions are slow, but prices remain stable.
In this morning's trading session, raw rice prices in the Mekong Delta remained stable. Specifically, IR 504 rice fluctuated from 8,100 - 8,200 VND/kg; CL 555 rice was at 8,300 - 8,400 VND/kg; OM 380 rice remained at 7,850 - 7,900 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice reached 9,000 - 9,150 VND/kg. At retail markets, rice prices were stable with regular rice at 13,000 - 14,000 VND/kg, Thai fragrant rice at 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg, Huong Lai rice at 22,000 VND/kg, and Nang Nhen rice at the highest at 28,000 VND/kg.

Prices of rice by-products today have not fluctuated significantly. Specifically:
Bran price fluctuates at 8,100 - 8,250 VND/kg.
The price of broken rice remains stable at 7,200 - 7,400 VND/kg.
Rice husk price remains at 1,000 - 1,150 VND/kg.
The by-product market is currently flat, with not much change compared to recent days.
Domestic rice price today
The domestic rice market today recorded stable prices, including:
Dry rice trading is slow, prices are stable.
Summer-Autumn rice is starting to improve because at the beginning of the harvest season, prices tend to increase slightly.

Rice price today June 29, 2025 in export market
According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), Vietnam's rice export prices today have not changed compared to the previous session. Specifically:
5% broken rice: 383 USD/ton
25% broken rice: 358 USD/ton
100% broken rice: 317 USD/ton
International market situation:
Japan suddenly increased rice imports from private enterprises, with 10,600 tons of imported rice in May 2025, much higher than the 3,004 tons of the previous fiscal year. The reason was that unfavorable weather reduced domestic production, causing domestic rice prices to increase sharply.
The Japanese government has had to release its reserves and speed up rice import bidding to stabilize the market.
Vietnam's rice export market remains under pressure from global supply, but prices remain stable in the short term.
