Foden, Maguire rake in the money

Despite Man City and MU having a bad season, Phil Foden and Harry Maguire still have huge income thanks to image contracts and off-field investments.

Foden and Maguire are "money printing machines" thanks to knowing how to exploit their personal image and invest intelligently.

Midfielder Phil Foden is worth around £8m. Centre-back Harry Maguire is not far behind, with his own company HM5 Ltd valued at the same, not to mention owning an impressive property portfolio.

Foden earns around £67,000 a week from his image rights, on top of his £225,000 a week from Man City. He has also been investing heavily in property, with Rondog Sports Limited set to have £7.8m in cash and investments by 2024, up from £4.3m last year.

Thanks to their fame, stars like Foden also profit greatly from the sale of jerseys, sneakers and other memorabilia with their names, signatures, numbers or personal images. In addition to a long-term contract with Man City until 2027, Foden also has an exclusive shoe deal with the world-famous sports brand Nike.

Meanwhile, Maguire has also shown impressive earning power. HM5 Ltd owns £8m in cash and assets, up from £6.4m. Maguire receives a salary of around £10m a year at MU, and also invests £5m in real estate - a direction he considers a safe way to increase his personal wealth.

On the pitch, both sides have endured seasons that have fallen short of expectations. Foden scored but Man City were knocked out of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ by Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal in a 3-4 defeat on 1 July, ending their campaign in the quarter-finals.

At Old Trafford, Maguire somewhat regained his form with a late goal to help MU win a dramatic 5-4 victory over Lyon (7-6 on aggregate) in the Europa League quarter-finals. However, the "Red Devils" still missed out on the title when they lost 0-1 to Tottenham in the final.
