Hai Duong will have rain in the coming days

Around 11-12 o'clock on June 28, Hai Duong area had heavy rain, locally very heavy rain. The rain lasted for a short time but was of high intensity.

According to the Hai Duong Hydrometeorological Station, the rainfall measured in Nam Sach district reached 74 mm, the highest in the province; Thanh Mien district 70 mm, Hai Duong city 47.6 mm...

The cause is due to the low trough passing through the Northern region, combined with high-altitude wind convergence.

The above weather pattern is forecast to last in Hai Duong area until July 2. Rain will mainly concentrate in the afternoon, afternoon and evening, rainfall from 30 - 50 mm/day, in some places up to 70 - 80 mm/day. Total rainfall this time is expected to be about 150 - 250 mm.

Heavy rain has a high risk of causing flooding in low-lying areas, urban areas, industrial zones, landslides on steep slopes...

The Hai Duong Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue has requested the People's Committees of districts, communes and wards after the merger and the provincial Hydrometeorological Station to proactively respond to possible heavy rains, floods, inundation and landslides.

Closely monitor forecasts and warnings about heavy rain, flood risks, inundation, landslides and inform local authorities and people to proactively prevent.

Organize inspection and review of key works, works under construction; works, infrastructure in areas along rivers, streams, ponds, lakes, canals... at risk of flooding and landslides to promptly deploy response measures.

In particular, communes and wards in Chi Linh City and Kinh Mon Town should pay special attention to areas near hills, mountains, slopes, mineral mines, and dams that are at risk of being unsafe. Put up danger warning signs, deploy control forces, and do not let people stay in areas identified as at risk of landslides...

Proactively deploy forces to guard, control, support, and guide to ensure traffic safety for people and vehicles, especially in areas with deep flooding.
