Raid on warehouse, seized thousands of children's toy weapons

On August 28, information from the Thanh Hoa Province Market Management Department said that Market Management Team No. 1 inspected and seized a large quantity of toys and food of unknown origin.

Previously, on August 27, the authorities inspected the warehouse of Thanh Mai grocery store owned by Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai, located at 23/23 Phan Boi Chau, Ba Dinh Ward, Thanh Hoa City.

At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered 1,000 products including: guns, plastic swords, and various foreign-made toys; 10,000 food products including: jelly, candy, chips, instant noodles, instant squid, chicken feet, etc.

All of the above goods had no invoices or documents proving their origin. The owner admitted that the goods were purchased from many places to sell to grocery stores for profit.

Market Management Team No. 1, Thanh Hoa Market Management Department has temporarily detained all of the above goods for verification and handling.
