With the theme “Pink hearts - Accompanying children”, on the afternoon of June 28, in Ha Long City, the Youth Union and Women's Union of the Provincial Police coordinated with Quang Ninh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital and benefactors to present meaningful gifts to children in difficult circumstances currently being treated at the Hospital.
This is one of the practical activities in response to the Month of Action for Children 2023 and Vietnamese Family Day (June 28), in the spirit of joining hands to care for, protect and accompany the "future buds" of the country.
Since the beginning of June, many meaningful programs have been organized by the Youth Union and Women's Union of the Provincial Police such as: Propagating prevention of drowning and injury accidents, screening for eye diseases and visiting and giving gifts to nearly 300 children in Tien Yen district; giving gifts to children at the Provincial Center for Protection and Care of Children in Special Circumstances; giving gifts to children in the "Godmother" and "Helping Children Go to School" models...
On this occasion, the Youth Union and Women's Union of the Provincial Police presented 250 gifts worth over 50 million VND to disadvantaged children currently being treated at the Hospital.
The program has demonstrated the affection and responsibility of the Youth Union members, Women's Union members of the Provincial Police and philanthropists, contributing to raising community awareness, joining hands to effectively carry out the work of protecting, caring for andeducating children, especially promptly supporting and helping children in difficult circumstances who suffer many disadvantages in life.
