On the morning of August 12, Inspection Team No. 4 of the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and anti-negativity, led by Comrade Le Thanh Long, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Justice, had a working session on the implementation of the inspection plan on leadership, direction, and implementation of the coordination mechanism to detect and handle corruption and negativity through inspection, audit, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of sentences in Binh Phuoc province.

Receiving and working with the delegation were comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity, and comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of relevant departments, branches, agencies and units.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long said that in order to improve the effectiveness of detecting and handling corruption, on May 28, 2024, the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negative Practices (Steering Committee) issued Plan No. 44-KH/BCĐTW on inspecting the leadership, direction, and organization of the implementation of the coordination mechanism for detecting and handling corruption and negative practices through inspection, audit, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments and the Decision to establish inspection working groups in 12 localities, including Binh Phuoc province.

Regarding the purpose and requirements, through inspection to grasp the situation, evaluate the leadership and direction of Party committees and organizations and the results of implementing the coordination mechanism to detect and handle corruption and negativity through inspection, audit, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of sentences on corruption, economic, and negativity cases of functional agencies.

At the same time, to evaluate the achievements, shortcomings, limitations, difficulties, obstacles, and causes in the leadership, direction, and implementation of the coordination mechanism of Party committees, Party organizations, and functional agencies of the province. From there, point out the limitations, difficulties, obstacles, and causes; propose solutions to overcome and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the coordination mechanism.

The delegation will also take note of local proposals on tasks and solutions to overcome shortcomings, limitations, difficulties and obstacles in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Party's fight against corruption and negativity in the coming time.

Also at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Deputy Head of the delegation, also announced the plan, along with a specific working schedule at a number of agencies, units and localities of the province.
