Tak Po school is beautiful through the eyes of a group of friends who travel and volunteer

According to Mr. Nguyen Binh Nam (living in Da Nang), he and a group of friends in Da Nang and Quang Nam chose to spend the holiday by going to the high mountains to camp and cook for poor children in Tak Po instead of staying in the city.

Tak Po is not strange

The group chose Tak Po peak, Tra Tap commune, Nam Tra My district, Quang Nam province to set up tents to rest and have fun overnight.

To make the trip more meaningful, the members organized cooking and invited the people and children in Tak Po village to enjoy.

During the scorching hot days in the Central region, the temperature in the highlands of Quang Nam province is milder. Noc Tak Po is located halfway up the hillside of Ngoc Linh mountain, the people here include 35 households, all of whom are local people who live off the mountains and forests.

Tak Po is a name that is not unfamiliar to many people from 2019 onwards. This is the village roof associated with the image of the simple Tak Po school rising like a silver mushroom floating under rows of old areca trees.

There, despite the hardships and distance, there are young female teachers in their twenties who have devoted their youth to teaching.

Volunteer destination

After the story about Tak Po was published by Tuoi Tre Online , philanthropists from all over the country came to this simple school to visit the teachers and students. The picturesque village roof appearing in the middle of the clouds captured the hearts of many people.

In 2022, Tak Po school, made of reinforced concrete, spacious and clean with a scale of nearly 1.4 billion VND, was built by volunteers with contributions of money and labor.

The school is a symbol of the community's support for the teaching efforts in the highlands of teachers in their twenties.

Tak Po has since become a destination for volunteer tours and a famous camping check-in location.
