(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Implementing the Official Dispatch of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman on focusing on leadership and direction in response to storm No. 5 in 2025, Song Chu One Member Co., Ltd. has directed its affiliated units to deploy response solutions.

Accordingly, the company has deployed all emergency response plans and natural disaster response plans for 78/78 reservoir projects, Bai Thuong dam, Hoang Kim sluice and Ben Ngu estuary to the projects. Flood and storm prevention materials have been arranged at all projects, and vehicles are ready to be transported and mobilized when necessary.

At the same time, established and implemented a meeting of the flood and storm prevention command committee for all projects managed by the company.

At the main construction sites of reservoirs, dams, drainage culverts, pumping stations... workers are assigned to operate 24/7, ready to drain water when there is heavy rain or flooding. The drainage pumping stations in the area managed by the company have been turned on, ready to drain flood water to serve production. The drainage culverts operate at maximum buffer drainage time, ready to respond to storms.

For the three reservoirs with gates, namely Song Muc, Yen My, and Dong Chua, the company has proactively released and regulated the reservoirs.

Through inspection of the current status of 78/78 reservoirs, it was found that all reservoirs ensure safety and have flood and storm prevention materials at the foot of the project.

For the two reservoirs under construction, Cong Khe and Huong Son, the company has coordinated with relevant units to deploy safety measures.

The drainage culverts have been inspected, operated at full capacity, and thoroughly drained the buffer water, including: Tho Xuan, Quang Chau, Ngoc Giap, Truong Le, Song Do drainage culverts, Than canal, Ben Ngao, Ben Ngu estuary, Dong Hung estuary, Mai Chu estuary.... All 50/50 combined drainage and irrigation pumping stations have been inspected and energized to ensure normal operation.

Implementing the Operational Regulation Procedure of the Bai Thuong Dam Headworks Cluster, the unit has closed the 7-gate water intake from 14:00 on August 23, 2025. Strengthen monitoring and inspection of water regulation of reservoirs, especially reservoirs with high water levels. Proactively coordinate with the People's Committees at the commune level to prepare for prevention and response work according to the dam and reservoir protection plan and the natural disaster response plan.
