In the province, there are currently about 1,535 historical - cultural relics and scenic spots that have been ranked and inventoried for protection. In recent years, all levels, sectors and localities in the province have always paid attention to allocating funds from the budget as well as through socialization and contributions from individuals and businesses to carry out the work of preserving and embellishing historical and cultural relics. Along with that, many ways have been implemented to promote the value of relics such as: paying attention to conservation work; building a master plan to protect and promote the value of relics; widely propagating and educating people of all walks of life to raise awareness and responsibility for protecting relics, actively promoting educational activities about the source; focusing on developing tourism at relics...

In the current digital age, the digitization of relics is also focused on by many localities and units to improve the effectiveness of conservation work and promote values. Digitization is also particularly meaningful in promoting heritage and promoting tourism development. In recent years, Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union has established youth volunteer teams to propagate and provide information about historical sites and red addresses to build digital maps, digitize documents and artifacts, contributing to the whole province's digitization of hundreds of historical and cultural relics... At the digitized relics, virtual reality images are used, built with 360-degree flycam points in the air, VR360-degree points on the ground, describing the most complete, realistic and accurate images of the relics, and using AI TTS technology for narration. Visitors only need to scan the QR code via smartphone to quickly access information about the entire relic, and at the same time see the panoramic view of the site in the most intuitive and vivid way.

Also a pioneer in digitizing relics, Mr. Trinh Huu Anh, Deputy Director of the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center, said: "The application of modern technology, opening up interesting experiences, providing fast and convenient information, promoting multidimensional images is a breakthrough that digital technology brings in the management, preservation and promotion of historical and cultural relic values today. Therefore, keeping up with the digital transformation trend, since 2018, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center has built a 3D explanation program to introduce an overview of the outstanding values of the heritage, emphasizing the outstanding values of both the core area and the buffer zone. The Center also promotes research on the application of 3D technology on the website http//www.thanhnhaho.vn... Therefore, when using a smartphone to access this application, visitors can explore, learn, and update all information about the heritage site with vivid, sharp images. In addition, in order to promote the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage to a large number of tourists, especially the young generation on the Internet, the center organized a summer photo video contest with the theme "Brilliant Ancient Capital"; the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage contest through short video clips on the Tiktok platform with the theme "I am a tour guide of my hometown's heritage"... attracting a large number of students from schools in the area to participate.

Along with tangible cultural heritages, Thanh Hoa also has a rich and diverse treasure of intangible cultural heritages with all kinds of folk knowledge, traditional festivals, customs, languages, religious activities... However, many cultural values are at risk of being lost due to the fluctuations of modern life. In that context, digital transformation is considered a "salvation" to preserve and spread cultural heritage. Therefore, in recent years, many units and localities in the province have increased the application of digital technology in introducing heritage; developing smart tourism applications, providing detailed information about intangible cultural heritages, thereby helping tourists easily learn and experience. Speaking about this issue, from the perspective of a cultural manager, People's Artist Han Van Hai, Director of Lam Son Thanh Hoa Art Theater, said: "Digital technology is the fastest way to convey intangible cultural heritage values to a large number of friends and tourists. At Lam Son Thanh Hoa Art Theater, there are art forms such as cheo, tuong, cai luong, drama, singing, dancing, and music. In order for art forms to attract audiences in modern society, we must constantly strive to think and create, improve our ability to compose and perform with a variety of topics and rich forms to both preserve traditional cultural identity and keep up with the breath of the times. In addition, the theater has also established a fanpage "Lam Son Thanh Hoa Art Theater" and actively updates and shares activities and plays every day so that audiences can follow regularly.

In fact, in the strong flow of integration and digital transformation, cultural heritages have been gradually stepping into cyberspace, getting closer to the public, especially the young generation. That not only contributes to preserving and promoting the value of heritage but also promotes the development of local tourism.
