Visiting and giving gifts to families of workers affected by storms in Ly Thuong Kiet ward

On the afternoon of August 27, comrade Nguyen Hai Long, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, as head of the delegation, visited and encouraged the families of workers of Jungwon Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Jy Plasteel Vina Co., Ltd. (Chau Son Industrial Park) whose houses were damaged by storms and tornadoes.

Comrade Nguyen Hai Long, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to union members of Jy Plasteel Vina Company Limited.

Visiting, encouraging and sharing the difficulties of 6 families of union members and workers affected by storms in Ly Thuong Kiet ward, comrade Nguyen Hai Long presented gifts worth 2 million VND to each family. The unions of the two companies also presented meaningful gifts to help union members and workers overcome the consequences of natural disasters, continue working and production, and soon stabilize their lives.

Previously, at around 8:30 p.m. on August 25, in Ly Thuong Kiet and Kim Bang wards, due to the impact of storm No. 5, a tornado occurred, causing great damage to people and property. Families of workers and employees of 2 companies had their roofs blown off, their windows broken, their houses collapsed, etc.
