The new period 2025-2030 opens with the expectation of continuing to transform strongly, modernize and improve management capacity in the context of merging with Thai Nguyen Electricity Company.
Achieving many achievements in the 2020–2025 term
With the spirit of "Solidarity, innovation, creativity, professionalism, efficiency", the Party Committee of Bac Kan Electricity Company has demonstrated its comprehensive leadership role in implementing political tasks and production and business. Over the past 5 years, the unit's economic and technical indicators have basically met and exceeded the plan. Specifically, the rate of households using national grid electricity reached 97.82%, an increase of nearly 0.5% compared to the beginning of the term; the average growth of commercial electricity is over 8%/year; the company always ensures safe and continuous electricity supply, without subjective incidents.
The Party Committee has focused on Party building and developing new Party members with 24 people admitted, exceeding the resolution target. Mass, trade union and youth activities have been maintained effectively, patriotic emulation movements, the programs "Skilled Mass Mobilization", "Lighting up the Countryside", social security... have all created positive impressions.
The Party Committee has constantly innovated its leadership methods, promoted democracy in enterprises, improved the quality of Party cell activities, and strictly implemented periodic inspections and supervisions. In particular, the work of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style has gone into depth, associated with the implementation of professional tasks.
Frankly acknowledge the existence
In addition to positive results, the last term also revealed some limitations. Notably, the average income target did not meet expectations (some years increased below 10% according to the resolution). The average electricity price also did not reach the set target, mainly due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the load structure leaning towards industrial production. Although the rate of households with electricity increased steadily, it still did not reach the expected 98.5%.
Accelerating transformation, taking on new challenges
The period 2025-2030 is identified as a period of acceleration, adapting to the strong movements of the electricity industry, especially after the merger and consolidation of the Party organization with Thai Nguyen Electricity Company. It is forecasted that the demand for electricity consumption in Thai Nguyen - Bac Kan will increase sharply thanks to the development of industrial parks, urban areas and services. This requires the company to make large investments in grid infrastructure, develop renewable energy sources, and optimize operational efficiency.
Mr. Do Tien Hung, Party Cell Secretary, Director of Bac Kan Electricity Company said: “The Company's Party Committee has clearly defined the direction for the new term: Improving organizational capacity, developing high-quality human resources, promoting digital transformation in management and operation; ensuring stable electricity supply to serve socio-economic development; building a clean and strong Party Committee, strengthening internal inspection and supervision, improving public ethics and exemplary responsibility of Party members. In particular, the company will focus on investing in developing the power grid in rural, mountainous and remote areas to achieve the goal of reaching 100% of households with electricity; gradually raising the average electricity price target through a reasonable load structure; strengthening solutions to reduce electricity loss, improving the quality of customer service, meeting the trend of the 4.0 industrial revolution".
The biggest lesson from the 2020-2025 term is the spirit of solidarity and high political determination of the leadership and employees.
