Video of VinMotion's robot in action.
After many leaked images, VinMotion has released a video of its developing humanoid robot. It is known that VinMotion has successfully developed the “Make in Vietnam” humanoid robot in a record time of 3 months. This is the result of the passion, creativity and never-give-up spirit of VinMotion’s team of experts and engineers.
In early 2025, Vingroup officially established VinMotion with a charter capital of VND1,000 billion, marking an important turning point in its high-tech development strategy. Vingroup holds 51% of the shares, while the remainder is owned by Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong and his two children. VinMotion is assigned a pioneering role in researching, designing and developing the first multi-purpose humanoid robots bearing the "Made in Vietnam" mark.

Robot Motion 1 can move, perform some movements like waving.
Humanoid robots are widely used in many different fields. In industry, they support production, perform dangerous or repetitive tasks. In medicine , humanoid robots can care for the elderly, assist patients and monitor health remotely.
In the service sector, they act as receptionists, customer guides or personal assistants. In education, robots support teaching, interact with students and simulate training situations. In addition, in the entertainment sector, they are also used for performances, events and technology promotion, etc.
Hong Kong deploys drone patrols in urban areas
Hong Kong police (China) have deployed drone patrols for the first time in an urban area, helping to quickly monitor an area of 96,000 square meters in Yau Ma Tei and Jordan, Kowloon.

Drones are deployed for patrol.
The operation follows a three-month pilot program in Kowloon West and the border area. The drones will help patrol hotspot areas and “three-zero buildings” – areas that lack resident organizations and property management services.
Patrols will expand to more busy areas in phase two, but no specific timeline has been set. Police have pledged that the devices will not be recording unless they detect something suspicious, and will continue to work with the community to ensure the deployment is effective.

LoveFrom Joins the Design of Rivian's First Electric Bike
LoveFrom, the creative agency founded by former Apple design chief Jony Ive, helped develop Rivian’s first electric bike. Over the course of about 18 months, LoveFrom’s team worked closely with Rivian’s engineers and designers on a special research program.

The micro-mobility project eventually spun off into a standalone startup called Also, which raised $105 million in funding from Eclipse Ventures. Also is expected to unveil its first designs later this year, with Jony Ive’s stamp likely to appear on the product.
Although LoveFrom and Rivian have not made any official comments, multiple sources say the project has helped Rivian expand the scope of electric vehicle technology applications into the micromobility field, bringing a product that is both compact and has high-end aesthetics.
