Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front visited Mr. Do Huy Nong's health.

On the afternoon of July 24, Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front visited and presented gifts to a number of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions in Hai Phong city on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

The delegation visited and presented gifts to 5 families, including: Mr. Luu Trung Sinh (2/4 disabled soldier, at 63 Hong Phuc Street, Le Duan 1 Group), Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Dang (at Kha Lam residential group, Kien An ward), Mr. Le Van Thao (at Vinh Khe residential group, An Hai ward), Mr. Do Huy Nong (3/4 disabled soldier, body injury rate 45%, at Ton Duc Thang Street, Hong Bang ward) and Mr. Nguyen Van Loc (3/4 disabled soldier, body injury rate 41%, at Gia Vien ward).

Mr. Le Van Thao, Do Huy Nong, and Nguyen Van Loc were all resistance fighters who were exposed to toxic chemicals.

Each gift includes 2 million VND and gifts.

At the places visited, Comrade Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and the city leaders kindly inquired about the health and life of the Heroic Vietnamese Mother and the policy families for their great sacrifices and contributions in the cause of national liberation. He wished that the Heroic Vietnamese Mother would always be healthy, and that the wounded and sick soldiers would continue to uphold the spirit of Uncle Ho's soldiers, actively participate in social activities, patriotic emulation movements, contribute ideas to build the homeland and become shining examples to educate their children and grandchildren to firmly believe in the increasingly developing future of the nation in the new era, the era of national development.

Comrade Do Van Chien requested that local Party committees, authorities, agencies and units continue to show their concern and care for the material and spiritual lives of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in particular and families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people in Hai Phong city in general, continuing and promoting the nation's moral tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source".
