First digital booth appears at OCOP Export Fair 2025

(Chinhphu.vn) - This year, in parallel with the traditional fair, the OCOPEX 2025 Online Exhibition will also take place - marking a breakthrough in applying technology in trade promotion.

On the afternoon of July 23, the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) held a press conference to introduce information about the OCOP Export Products Fair (Vietnam OCOPEX 2025).

According to Mr. Bui Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), with the aim of supporting enterprises, cooperatives, and Vietnamese OCOP entities to introduce and promote products, seek partners and develop markets not only domestically but also internationally, from August 1-3, 2025 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Relic Site, 19C Hoang Dieu, Hanoi, the Trade Promotion Agency in coordination with the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, the Central Office for New Rural Area Coordination and related units organized the VIETNAM OCOPEX Fair 2025. The fair is organized under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , the Hanoi People's Committee, and the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.

VIETNAM OCOPEX 2025 is a large-scale event with 300 booths of nearly 200 units displaying thousands of OCOP-certified products from 34 provinces and cities. In addition, the Fair also attracts the participation of booths from countries such as Peru, Laos, Cambodia, etc.

Mr. Hung acknowledged that through the Fair, OCOP entities, foreign enterprises, as well as foreign representative agencies and trade promotion organizations in Vietnam have the opportunity to connect, exchange, and cooperate directly with foreign trade promotion organizations, enterprises and importers. At the same time, foreign representative agencies have the opportunity to access information about the market and unique OCOP products of localities.

Breakthrough in technology application

Within the framework of this year's Fair, there will also be events such as: Seminar: "Application of Digital Transformation in developing OCOP exports"; Forum: Global consumption trends and opportunities for OCOP exports; Connecting trade between Vietnamese enterprises and international importers; Megalivestream program "Top agricultural products - agricultural products to the city"; Processing dishes from OCOP products...

Notably, at this year's fair, in parallel with the traditional fair, the OCOPEX 2025 Online Exhibition will also take place - marking a breakthrough in the application of technology in trade promotion, when it is completely digitized for the first time on the B2B e-commerce platform Arobid.com.

The OCOPEX 2025 online exhibition not only takes place in parallel with the Fair event, but also lasts a month afterwards, creating conditions for domestic and international businesses, partners and visitors to continuously access digital booths, search for B2B partners, negotiate, place orders and participate in an effective, transparent and reliable supply and demand connection program.

In recent years, the Vietnamese business community has increasingly aimed to develop products according to OCOP standards. As of July 2025, the country had 17,068 OCOP products with 3 stars or more, from 9,195 OCOP entities. Of which, 126 products were recognized as 5-star OCOP products at the national level. To date, many OCOP products have met quality and food safety standards and regulations; have diverse designs and packaging, are environmentally friendly, and meet market requirements.
