On June 23, Da Nang Club sent a document requesting VPF to organize the V-League play-off match at Quy Nhon Stadium of Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club, to ensure geographical neutrality.
At the same time, on June 19, Da Nang Club also sent another document (document No. 96) requesting VPF to adjust the venue if a Central Club meets a Southern Club.
On June 23, VPF made the final announcement to keep the venue and organization of the match at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC). Everything has been deployed and completed for June 27.
VPF believes that changing the venue to Quy Nhon Stadium (Binh Dinh) at the request of Da Nang Club at this time is urgent, so it cannot be done after determining the match.
The match between Da Nang Club and Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc will apply VAR technology, controlled by 2 foreign referees at 6:00 p.m. on June 27 at Thong Nhat Stadium.
On the afternoon of June 24, Coach Le Duc Tuan and his team will travel to Ho Chi Minh City by plane. Meanwhile, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club will travel by bus (about 125km) to the competition venue.
Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club is the runner-up of the First Division in the 2024-2025 season. Coach Huynh Quoc Anh and his players have 44 points after 20 rounds and won a place in the V-League promotion play-off.
Da Nang FC is the second-to-last team in the 2024-2025 V-League with 25 points after 26 rounds. The fate of relegation and play-off will only be decided in the extra minutes of the final round.
