Summer culinary tour series "Find your flavor" - Journey to discover the culinary identity of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City
Cuisine has long been an inseparable part of the journey to explore Ho Chi Minh City. In order to make cuisine a key tourism product in the summer, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism has launched the Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City Cuisine program "Find your flavor" lasting from July to August 2025.

This year, the highlight is the culinary journey according to the Michelin Guide 2025, after the Michelin organization announced a list of 181 typical restaurants and dining establishments in Vietnam, of which Ho Chi Minh City has 75 honored locations. Including 5 restaurants with 1 Michelin star, 21 Bib Gourmand restaurants and 49 Michelin Selected restaurants, these are high-quality culinary locations recognized by a team of international independent experts, vividly reflecting the depth and diversity of Ho Chi Minh City's culinary culture.
Tourists make their own local dishes
This journey of discovery takes visitors through sophisticated culinary spaces such as Anan Saigon with creative Vietnamese fusion dishes, The Royal Pavilion with high-class Cantonese cuisine, or intimate experiences at Bib Gourmand restaurants such as Banh Xeo 46A, Pho Le, Bun Cha 145. In addition, Michelin Selected locations such as Ba Co Loc Coc, Madame Lam, A By Tung... bring new perspectives on street food and fine dining in Ho Chi Minh City, affirming the city's position as a rich and unique "culinary capital".
The program is designed with a series of extensive promotional activities, combined with the implementation of culinary tours according to each week's theme. Each week brings a new perspective on Saigon cuisine, from popular street food, traditional family delicacies to international cuisine and modern fusion creations. “Shining Essence” - Multi-sensory art performance, honoring 50 years of Ho Chi Minh City culture
From June 17, 2025, the multi-sensory performing arts program “The Shining Essence” will officially open to the public. This is a special cultural and tourism product chaired by the Department of Culture and Sports, in coordination with the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, applying modern video art technology, combining light, sound, and spatial movement to vividly recreate the City's typical literary and artistic works over 50 years of formation and development.
A place where modern technology is applied to serve tourists
Viewers will be immersed in a world of art that connects many genres: literature, cinema, theater, photography, architecture, fine arts, music... in a new and emotional approach. The exhibition space is designed with multiple layers, allowing visitors to interact, explore and feel the depth of art through sight, hearing and touch.
Along with the art presentations, the program also organizes attractive sideline activities: comic writing contest, digital art exhibition on the history of Ho Chi Minh City, children's painting, weekend art playground...
