Titles at the VTV Ferroli Cup 2025 International Women's Volleyball Tournament

VHO - The VTV Ferroli Cup 2025 international women's volleyball tournament ended on the evening of July 5 at Vinh Phuc Stadium (Phu Tho) after the final match between the Vietnamese women's volleyball team and Korabelka Club (Russia).

The Vietnamese women's team ended the VTV Ferroli Cup 2025 as runners-up after a regrettable 2-3 loss to Korabelka Club in the final.

The Vietnamese girls had a bad start when they lost 19-25 and 14-25 in the first two sets.

However, in the next 2 sets, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen and her teammates played explosively to win 25-23, 25-21 to bring the final match into set 5.

In this set, the two teams played a tense game, bringing the final match to its peak. In the end, Korabelka Club won set 5 with a score of 20-18.

Defeating the home team with a score of 3-2, Korabelka Club successfully defended the championship title of the tournament.

Final ranking at VTV Cup 2025:

Champion: Korabelka Club (Russia)

Runner-up: Vietnam Team

3rd place: Chinese Taipei

4th place: Philippines team

5th place: U21 Thailand

Rank 6: U21 Vietnam

7th place: Sichuan Club (China)

8th place: Australia team

Meanwhile, the Vietnamese women's team finished second in the tournament for the second consecutive time.

In the third-place match, Chinese Taipei defeated the Philippines 3-0 to finish third overall.

The U21 Vietnam team unfortunately lost 1-3 to U21 Thailand, thereby finishing in 6th place, while the "Land of Golden Pagodas" team ranked 5th.

Finally, in the 7th place match, Sichuan (China) easily defeated Australia with a score of 3-0.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded individual and team titles to the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, with Tran Thi Thanh Thuy as the best Attacker, Nguyen Khanh Dang as the best Libero, and Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen as the best Opposite.

In addition to the organizers' award, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation awarded the Vietnamese women's team 100 million VND for their runner-up performance this year.

Individual titles at the tournament:

Best striker: Bobrova Viktorria (Korabelka Club), Tran Thi Thanh Thuy (Vietnam)

Best Middle Blocker: Kan Ko-Hui (Chinese Taipei), Palshina Elizaveta (Korabelka Club)

Best Opposite: Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen (Vietnam)

Best setter: Filishtinskaia Irina (Korabelka Club)

Best Libero: Nguyen Khanh Dang (Vietnam)

Best athlete of the tournament: Nesterova Elizaveta (Korabelka Club)
