Attending the event were Ms. Nguyen Thi Sang - Deputy Head of the Regional Tax Department XVI, representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade and more than 200 delegates representing businesses and business households in the province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Sang said that Decree 70/2025/ND-CP of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 123/2020/ND-CP regulating invoices and documents officially took effect from June 1, 2025. Accordingly, business households and individuals paying taxes under the lump-sum method, with revenue of 1 billion VND/year or more and operating in the retail sector, providing goods and services directly to consumers will have to issue electronic invoices (E-invoices) from cash registers. This is a preparatory step for large business households to gradually get used to the new tax management method and revenue transparency.
However, up to now, many businesses and business households are still having difficulty in understanding and implementing the new decree correctly. Therefore, at this Business Coffee program, representatives of the Tax Department answered questions from individuals, businesses and business households about issues related to declaring and fulfilling tax obligations during business operations in accordance with the law.
At the program, the representative of the Regional Tax Department XVI briefly presented the new regulations on taxes and invoices for business households according to Decree 70/2025/ND-CP; the representative of VNPT Tay Ninh presented the electronic invoice solution generated from cash registers, a new point in Decree 70/2025/ND-CP that business households are very interested in; the representative of MISA Joint Stock Company shared about software solutions to support business households, small and medium enterprises in accounting, invoices and operational management; the representative of Techcombank Tay Ninh branch presented capital solutions for business households to digitally transform according to Decree 70/2025/ND-CP.
The program also held direct Q&A sessions between tax authorities and business households and enterprises on electronic invoices for households, business individuals and enterprises in some specific cases; invoice processing and revenue recording, how to deploy invoices from cash registers and technology support for small businesses.
