Jhon Duran wants to change clubs. |
The 21-year-old signed a lucrative five-and-a-half-year deal with Al Nassr in January after the Saudi Pro League side agreed a £64m deal to sign him from Aston Villa.
At the time, many Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea also showed interest in Duran, but Al Nassr won out with a salary offer worth £16.7 million a year, equivalent to around £46,000 a day.
Duran has scored 12 goals in 18 appearances for Al Nassr, an impressive achievement in a competitive environment. However, according to Saudi Arabian media, the striker is having some problems adapting to the playing environment in this country, affecting his spirit and stability on the pitch. Therefore, Al Nassr is considering the possibility of letting Duran leave on loan.
Premier League clubs are ready to sign Duran ahead of the 2025/26 season. According to TEAMtalk , West Ham are one of six clubs chasing the striker. They failed in their attempt to sign Duran in January after Aston Villa rejected a £57m bid. Manager Graham Potter is a fan of Duran's style of play.
In addition to West Ham, Wolves and Fulham are also ready to compete for Duran's signature, alongside three other undisclosed Premier League clubs.
