Finance Minister sends letter calling on organizations to support taxpayers

Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang has just sent a letter to the Tax Consulting Association, the Association of Practicing Auditors, the Association of Accountants and Auditors, tax agents and companies providing tax consulting, accounting, auditing and tax technology solution services.

In the letter, the Minister acknowledged and appreciated the professionalism, sense of responsibility and important role of these organizations in supporting taxpayers, acting as an important bridge between tax authorities and taxpayers through policy dissemination activities, consulting, training, and providing accounting, auditing and tax services.

Thanks to timely and practical support from these organizations, taxpayers have gradually improved their compliance with tax obligations, accounting and auditing laws, reduced costs, and spent more time focusing on production and business activities; tax authorities have also improved the effectiveness and efficiency of state management.

Referring to Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development and Resolution 98/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on a number of special mechanisms and policies for private economic development, the Minister said that these two resolutions have breakthrough tax incentives, eliminating lump-sum tax in 2026 along with the goal of having over 2 million enterprises by 2030.

“ This is a great opportunity for the private sector to make a breakthrough, while also posing challenges and opportunities for development of professional tax, accounting and auditing consulting services for hundreds of thousands of converted business households and newly established enterprises… ”, the Minister emphasized.

To effectively implement the major policies of the Party and State, the Ministry of Finance requests that the Association, the Union, tax agents and companies providing tax consulting, accounting and auditing services continue to accompany and promote an active role in supporting taxpayers.

Accordingly, the Minister of Finance requested units to continuously improve service quality and strictly comply with professional ethics standards; diversify service packages, improve services, optimize costs, reduce prices, provide consulting support for businesses to improve management capacity, expand business; especially support small and medium enterprises, newly converted business households to easily access professional services at reasonable fees; encourage fee exemptions and reductions for business households converting to enterprises during the initial period of using the service...

Associations and unions coordinate with tax authorities and relevant state management agencies to train, foster, and update changes in tax policies, accounting and auditing laws for businesses in general and small and medium-sized enterprises in particular.

Accounting, auditing, and tax consulting organizations proactively develop and implement programs to accompany and support business households in converting to declaration and enterprise registration, such as organizing training courses, coaching, and guidance on tax policies, tax declaration, accounting regimes, and tax reporting, financial reporting, and applying tax incentives according to Resolution 68 and Resolution 198.
