Over the past 5 years, the emulation movement of women in the Border Guard has been widely deployed, bringing about practical results. The emulation movements have motivated female officers and members of the Border Guard to uphold their spirit and responsibility, overcome difficulties, and strive to fulfill assigned tasks, contributing to enhancing the image of women in the Army as "good at state affairs and good at housework" and together with officers and soldiers of the entire force, successfully carrying out the task of protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security.

In particular, from the emulation movement "Women of the Border Guard unite - be creative, complete tasks well, build happy families, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers", over the past 5 years, agencies and units have concretized, created, and initiated many movements with their own characteristics associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.

In the period of 2020-2025, female officers and members of the Border Guard have had many ideas, built and maintained more than 200 models, of which nearly 100 models in implementing professional work, building regular and exemplary units; more than 100 models towards ethnic minorities, women, and poor students on the border.

Recognizing and praising the efforts, endeavors and results and achievements that collectives and individuals of female cadres and members have achieved in the recent period, speaking at the commendation ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that throughout the 66 years of building, fighting and growing, the Border Guard force has achieved many glorious feats, contributing worthily to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; recognized by the Party, State and Army with many noble awards. In those achievements and feats, there are significant contributions from generations of female Border Guards.

In order to create conditions for female members of the entire force to continue to promote their roles in all areas of work, Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan requested that Party committees and commanders of agencies and units continue to pay more attention to women's work, especially paying attention to the work of creating sources, fostering and expanding advanced models in the patriotic emulation movements of the unit.

The Political Commissar of the Border Guard expressed his hope that the Women's Union organizations, especially the Executive Committee of the Union, would further promote the spirit of creativity, continue to advise and propose new, practical emulation movements and campaigns that are close to the functions of the Union and the political tasks of each agency and unit; set out goals, contents and emulation targets that are suitable to the aspirations and needs of the majority of members.

Continue to replicate good models, good practices, and advanced examples in all areas of work, creating a widespread impact in the unit and the entire force. For female cadres and members, especially the commended collectives and individuals, it is necessary to continue to strive, make efforts, and constantly improve; continue to achieve even higher achievements.

On this occasion, the conference honored 20 collectives and 52 outstanding individuals in implementing emulation movements and campaigns for the 2020-2025 period.
