"This is a short-term retreat. I was so moved because it was a big ceremony and I myself had made a wish to become a monk a month before going to India. I only participated in keeping the precepts for 8 days in India.
"Out of the 50 people in the Sangha who came with me, more than 30 people, like me, also asked to become monks to cultivate their karma. Before returning to Vietnam, I also asked the monk to release my precepts and return to Vietnam as ordinary people," Ms. Xuyen from Ve Nha Di Con added.
Hoang Yen denied rumors that she cut her hair because she was disappointed in love after 4 failed relationships. She affirmed that she did not retire from acting and will continue to act in films in the future.
"I share clips or pictures in India because I want to share my wonderful feelings, the benefits of being in the homeland of Buddha, being a nun, keeping the precepts for 8 days and how happy I am. Not because I am currently a nun and want to brag.
I have returned to normal life and continue to act in movies. I continue to livestream to sell products and chat with my sisters. Because I still have to raise my mother and children, I am not blessed enough to become a monk.
