The center of storm No. 2 is in the Northeast of the East Sea, moving slowly in a West-Northwest direction and is likely to strengthen, causing strong winds, large waves and very rough seas.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 am on July 5, the center of the storm was located at about 20.1 degrees North latitude; 117.4 degrees East longitude. Intensity: level 8 (62–74 km/h), gusting to level 10. Direction and speed of movement: moving slowly in the West Northwest direction, speed about 5–10 km/h.
