Attending the event were comrades: Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, Huynh Minh Hai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Nguyen Van Loc - Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, violinist Nguyen Xuan Huy - Director of ASEAN Group; comrades, civil servants, and officials of the culture, sports, and tourism sectors, along with people and tourists.
Artist Nguyen Xuan Huy was born in 1972 in Hanoi. He is one of the representative faces of Vietnamese classical music . He studied at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music very early, then continued to study abroad at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Russia). During his musical career, he was once in the top 15 world orchestras sponsored by Princess Diana, founded the Luala Concert street concert series and initiated the program "What remains forever" held annually on Vietnam's National Day, September 2.

In addition to performing, Xuan Huy also attracts attention as a violin maker. He is the first Vietnamese to handcraft wooden violins, and is also a rare violin maker in the world who is capable of creating and performing professionally on a ceramic violin (there is a model of a ceramic violin for display only). He was recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as the "First person to craft and perform a ceramic violin in Vietnam".

With a creative mindset and a desire to preserve the quintessence of classical music, artist Nguyen Xuan Huy has successfully crafted 6 unique porcelain violins - some of which are displayed at the Japanese Royal Palace, Kien Trung Palace (Hue) and precious international collections. The unique porcelain violin that he respectfully presented to Lam Dong province is an artifact of artistic, cultural and spiritual value, contributing to enriching the cultural and artistic heritage and inspiring music and lasting creativity for future generations of artists.
Introducing the process of making and performing the unique ceramic violin, violinist Nguyen Xuan Huy said that by making the violin from ceramic, he wanted to leave a mark that only ceramic material can last forever, while wooden violins can be damaged after a few hundred years, ceramic violins are eternal (unless broken). The artist started making the violin, and was once the only artisan in Vietnam who could make wooden violins, so learning about and making ceramic violins will be an interesting story.

The instrument presented to Lam Dong province today was started by artist Nguyen Xuan Huy in 2014 and completed in 2017 with the convergence of: European motifs, the outer layer of the instrument is not enamel but gilded, painted with antique colors according to traditional art, looks like wood, but is not wood. The instrument is completely performable, not a work of art for display.
In front of the delegates attending the ceremony, artist Nguyen Xuan Huy performed the song "Em oi Ha Noi pho" by musician Phu Quang, making the audience admire. The violin made of porcelain can still be played and played very well like violins made of traditional materials.

Comrade Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee expressed his affection and appreciation for the special gift of a porcelain violin crafted by artist Nguyen Xuan Huy and presented to Lam Dong province. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: This porcelain violin is a unique work of art, with high cultural and artistic value. It is not only a musical instrument, but also a symbol of the creativity and talent of artist Nguyen Xuan Huy.

Receiving this creative gift is very important in contributing to enriching the local musical heritage in addition to the traditional cultural heritage of the land and people here, especially in the process when the whole country is promoting the development of cultural industry, promoting the spirit of innovation and creativity; enriching Da Lat in the process of maintaining the title of "Creative City in the field of music" by UNESCO.

The porcelain violin of artist Nguyen Xuan Huy will become a precious artifact, solemnly displayed at Lam Dong Museum as a living testament to the spirit of "preservation for development".
