Editor-in-Chief of Hue Today Newspaper, Mr. Hoang Dang Khoa shared at the meeting

The event is not only an opportunity to pay tribute to generations of journalists who have devoted themselves to the revolutionary cause and the development of the homeland, but also a moment to look back on the journey of innovation, integration and proud development of a press agency with a strong Hue identity.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ha Van Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Council; leaders of departments, branches and sectors; and many cadres, reporters, editors and staff of Hue Newspaper today through the periods.

In his speech reviewing the tradition, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hue Newspaper today Truong Dien Thong affirmed: “100 years of formation and development of Vietnam’s revolutionary press is also a continuous flow of revolutionary ideals, a source of nurturing patriotism, reflecting the thoughts, aspirations and accompanying the people. For Hue Newspaper today in particular, the journey of development through the stages is a living proof of a local newspaper that innovates and keeps the passion for journalism alive.”

Hue Newspaper today has grown steadily, becoming a prestigious press agency, gradually transforming towards modernity and multi-platform integration.

Editorial Board presents gifts to previous generations of journalists

Speaking at the ceremony, former Editor-in-Chief of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper (the predecessor of today's Hue Newspaper), Mr. Dinh Khac An expressed: “I feel proud to have worked and been associated with Thua Thien Hue Newspaper. Over the years, I have been truly impressed and appreciated the strong progress of the editorial office, especially in digital transformation, multi-platform development and constantly improving the quality of content. The newspaper has maintained its role as a trusted voice of the Party Committee, government and people of Hue city, while affirming its own mark in the local press. I hope that in the coming time, the collective leadership, reporters and editors of the newspaper will continue to promote tradition, maintain the flame of passion for the profession, constantly innovate and create to be worthy of being the city's key press agency".

Within the framework of the meeting, the Editorial Board organized a ceremony to honor and present gifts to previous generations of journalists.
