The talk attracted the participation of many technical staff, safety supervisors, and representatives of contractors. This is a regular activity within BSR 's Safety Culture program, aiming to increase sharing, reminding and promoting awareness of compliance with labor safety procedures, especially during hot and dry weather months, when there are many potential risks of fire and explosion.
According to the summary of the Safety - Environment - Fire Prevention and Fighting Department (ATMT), in June 2025, the Factory recorded a number of unsafe behaviors and working conditions that need to be deeply learned from. Typically, the situation of scaffolding dismantling materials not being arranged properly in area U52, causing obstruction of the passageway; insulation bags being transported incorrectly, causing dust to spread in area A2; using nylon bags instead of specialized bags to transport materials in area A1A; or violations related to internal traffic, fire prevention equipment and gas detection systems not operating properly.
In addition, temporary warehouses and material yards are also strictly controlled. Some construction sites have not been thoroughly cleaned up, and the materials used for covering have not complied with fire safety regulations. These issues have been reminded by inspection teams, requiring them to be corrected and retrained by relevant forces to prevent the risk of safety from recurring.
Speaking at the talk, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung - Head of BSR's Safety - Environment - Fire Prevention and Fighting Department emphasized: "Every unsafe act, every small incident can be the beginning of a serious accident. We are not allowed to be subjective even in the smallest detail. BSR clearly identifies that safety is not only a production goal but also a core part of corporate culture. Organizing talks like today is an opportunity for all officers, engineers and workers to reflect on themselves, remind each other and progress together."
Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung also informed that, up to now, BSR has achieved nearly 51.8 million safe working hours , without any work-related accidents. This is the result of the joint efforts of the Board of Directors, departments, BSR safety supervision forces and contractor personnel working in the Factory. However, he affirmed that this number is not something to be proud of but a reminder of the responsibility to maintain every day: “We cannot be satisfied. Every next hour requires vigilance and strict compliance. That is the way to maintain sustainable safety”.
The talk also mentioned a lot about fire prevention and fighting in the dry season this year, with the content revolving around checking flammable materials, arranging fire extinguishers in the right position, ensuring that fire alarm equipment is not covered and warning about potential fire-risk behaviors due to hot construction or being near heat sources. Especially the work of controlling plastic tarpaulins in the Factory, ensuring that they do not touch hot surfaces, near heat sources, arranging and tying them to ensure that they are not blown away by the wind, ...
At the end of the program, BSR called on units to maintain the spirit of "Doing it right the first time", building a safe and clean working environment, complying with 5S and raising awareness of prevention instead of just troubleshooting. This is also a key part of the 2025 Safety Culture program that the Company is implementing extensively to each production shift and each work group.
